What data we process and why

Newsletter: if you subscribe, we process your email address, your chosen language and the date and time of your consent, in order to send you news about our exhibitions, fairs and programme. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Subscribing is voluntary and is not a condition of using the website.

Website operation: the website uses only technically necessary cookies and does not use marketing or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operation, based on legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep your data

We keep your newsletter data until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe), after which your email address is deleted from the newsletter list without undue delay.

Who has access to your data

Your data is stored on the infrastructure of our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA), which acts as our data processor. Transfers to the USA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, request the restriction of processing, object to processing, and exercise your right to data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to randomgalleryartshop@gmail.com or by using the unsubscribe option in our emails; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., naih.hu) or bring the matter before a court.
